Meal Service is part of Region Service.

Common to the area is that we develop and deliver support and service functions to healthcare operations within Region Blekinge. In the department in Karlskrona, an engaged team of 22 chefs prepares nutritious and tasty meals year-round for our care departments and for the restaurant, which is also open to the public.

About the Job

In the position of Nutrition Economist, you will work in the Meal Service department in Karlskrona, providing meals to care departments and the restaurant. More concretely, the work involves being responsible for the nutrition data system Matilda with recipes, orders, statistics, and declared allergens. You will support chefs in production kitchens and special diets and carry out daily supplier orders according to current routines. Work in production may also occur when needed. The role of a nutrition economist also requires a sharp focus on hygiene and quality, ensuring that we carefully follow our routines and self-control programs. Your role involves regular contact with both internal and external customers, which requires a willingness to provide top-class service and a structured working method. About You

We are looking for someone with a degree as a nutrition economist or another relevant education that the employer considers equivalent, or alternatively, long experience in a similar position. As a person, you are structured and meticulous in your work approach. Since the job involves teamwork and customer contact, you have good collaboration skills and are service-oriented. You enjoy working both independently and in a group. Furthermore, you have a positive view of people and work, and like us, you believe that it should be fun to go to work!
